Taste the most delectable delights this side of Istanbul, along with authentic Turkish salads and a wide variety of other meals and baked goods. In addition, this year’s Festival will feature unique and fascinating demonstrations of distinctive traditional Turkish crafts, such as Turkish Calligraphy, this is a day not to be missed, explosion of taste and culture in the heart of the summer, in the heart of Calgary.

The world famous Turkish doner was the center piece of the Turkish Kitchen, served to over 4000 people. The stage was busy with Turkish folklore, music, dances and lovely Turkish songs. From handcrafts to pottery, jewelry to carpets, marbling to calligraphy, Turkish coffee to baklava, it was as if the Grand Bazaar of Istanbul was brought to Calgary. Kids were also having fun at their corner with moonwalk, face painting, crafts, portraits, and of course cotton candy and popcorn.
